Scarecrows, Harvest, and the Colors of Fall

Another fabulous fall wreathe in under an hour thanks to +Hobby Lobby, +Dollar Tree, and +Family Dollar  for some great deals.

I had some leftover materials left from other projects, so I had fewer floral wires to clip.  This is a great option for preventing leftover craft items from going to waste.  I like to prep all my materials first and lay them out before I begin gluing anything on.

I purchased the wreathe, sparkling leaves, and pumpkins from Hobby Lobby and the leaves, flowers, and ribbon from Dollar Tree.  The scarecrow I purchased at Family Dollar.

All you need is some: wire cutters, scissors, and a hot glue gun.

Will be starting the Christmas wreathes soon. I can't wait to share!

Graveside Wreathes

Thanks to +Hobby Lobby and +Dollar Tree for some more great wreathes.

I made these for some family members to put at their gravesides.

For about $15 a piece, I purchased the floral from Dollar Tree and the wreathes from Hobby Lobby.  It took me roughly 15 minutes to complete each of them.

All you need are some floral, wreathes, a hot glue gun, scissors, and wire cutters. I make sure to lay everything out first, and then go around and hot glue each piece in.

I wish my loved ones could see them.

Autumn Grapevine Swag

Thanks to +Hobby Lobby and +Dollar Tree, I was able to create another beautiful autumn décor piece for no more than $10.

I purchased the grapevine swag, sparkling leaves, and pumpkin from Hobby Lobby and the leaves, flowers, and ribbon from Dollar Tree.  These were merely the leftovers from an autumn wreathe I had made previously.

This is a great option for preventing leftover craft items from going to waste.

All you need is some: wire cutters, scissors, and a hot glue gun.

I like to lay out everything first, and then gluing the items on takes no more than 10 minutes for a project this size.

This project was a gift for my church to use to add to their autumn décor.

They loved it!

Wreathes

Check out the Hobby Lobby review on Influenster!

One of my favorite past times is making wreathes. You can make them for household decoration, gifts, or to decorate the tombstones of loved ones.

If you're looking for something fun to do with your kids or need a gift for a teacher, I highly recommend trying this. If you plan it correctly, you can spend as little as $25, where you might spend close to $100 buying one of the same caliber in a store.

Recently, I made a wreath for my mama to welcome the coming of Autumn.

Hobby Lobby is a great place to look for deals. Not only is there always a coupon online you can print for 40% off one item, but the items in the store are always on a rotating sale schedule. This week, Fall items were all 40% off. I got the wreath for $3.50 (on sale), each scarecrow for $2, and the pumpkins, gourds, and corn stalks for around $1.50 a piece. I also bought some sparkling leaves and some berries for less than $2.

The floral and ribbon were purchased at the Dollar Tree for a $1 per bushel (generally consists of 5-7 flowers) and $1 for the 9ft of ribbon.

Overall, I spent less than $30 to create this 24' wreathe. Simply use hot glue or weave in with wire to apply floral and decor.

This seriously took me just over an hour, I loved doing it, and my mama loved it too!

Fall in Love with Autumn :)

Lamp It Up

My friend and I recently started refurbishing different items for around the home.

This is our first project and it was super easy. I think it turned out super cute as well!

All we needed was a lamp with shade ($10), spray paint ($3/can), fabric ($3/yard), flowers ($2 total), and a glue gun. It only took a day to finish, and because we didn't use all the paint or fabric, I would say the whole project cost under $15. We sprayed the lamp and then attached the fabric and flowers with a glue gun. That's it! Try it for yourself.
